Furlong Family Butchers is owned and operated by Paul and Karen Furlong, continuing a proud family legacy of butchering in Wexford that extends back to1621. Furlongs currently have two shops, one in Wexford town and one in Gorey, and also operate a processing hall producing stuffings, sausages and dry cured meats. Renowned for their speciality in the production of pale and smoked turkey and bacon dry cured rashers, these award-winning foods have been savoured by generations of customers in the South East region. 

In 2016, the company launched Furlong Fitness Foods in order to cater for the growing health and fitness food market, featuring a range of high quality beef, turkey and chicken products. Nutritionally analysed and fully labelled by the healthpro Menu Mentoring team, products within the range are low in fat and saturated fat, low in salt and sugar, and high in protein.
