This easy hummus recipe is great to make sandwiches for your lunchbox, or simply to serve with carrot sticks or crackers.
Ingredients
Chickpeas 500 g
Tahini 20 g
Garlic 6 g
Salt 1 g
Lemon Juice 35 g
Olive Oil 25 g
Instructions
Rinse the chickpeas in cold water. Then add the chickpeas, along with 7 tbsp of reserved liquid from the cans, into a food processor.
Add the tahini, garlic, salt and lemon juice to the food processor and blend.
Allow the ingredients to mix.
Pour the oil in slowly as the ingredients are mixing until a paste forms.
When the mixture is smooth, turn off the food processor and place hummus in a serving dish.
