These homemade energy bars they are perfect for on the go. These bars are contain healthy fats and are high in fibre - they make a great snack to keep you going.
Almonds 30 g
Flaxseed 20 g
Raisins 15 g
Agave Syrup 10 g
Tahini 1 g
1. Grind the almonds and flax seeds to a flour consistency. Add the raisins and mix through.
2. Add the agave syrup and tahini, and mix again until dough is formed.
3. Remove the dough ball and with your hands form into square/rectangle shape. Wrap in a piece of kitchen paper (this will absorb some of the natural oil, which will make them less sticky), and refrigerate overnight, or until firm.
4. Slice into bite-sized chunks if desired, or simply leave as is for one large bar.
