Billy Byrne Neuromuscular Physical Therapist
Billy is a vastly experienced and highly regarded neuromuscular physical therapist, with over thirteen years of clinical practice and teaching attained to date. He graduated from the National Training Centre in 2000, and has since developed expertise in the treatment of myofascial pain by trigger point dry needling, a specialised technique mastered under the guidance of pioneers in the field, Dr Robert Gerwin and Dr Jan Dommerholt in the United States. Billy also has extensive expertise in gait analysis and the provision of orthoses for corrective or rehabilitative purposes. In addition to clinical practice, Billy is involved in the delivery of dry needling programmes throughout Ireland and the UK for Club Physio and continues to work as physical therapist to the cast of world-renowned dance show, Riverdance (currently enjoying yet another successful run at Dublin's Gaiety Theatre). Billy recently opened a clinic at healthpro and so we are now delighted to offer his skill and expertise in the management of musculoskeletal pain, injury and dysfunction.
