Next healthpro Run Group begins on June 13th for 10 weeks.
Mission: healthpro have brought recreational running to a new level. It is our goal to help you to make running easy. All abilities are welcome – beginners to advanced. All individuals are divided into their own ability and their trainer will take them on a journey of success. All our trainers are experienced runners and are dying to run with you.
healthpro's 10 week running programme runs through out the year. The next course begins on the 13th June 2012. We run on Wednesday nights at 7pm and Saturday mornings at 9am. Places on courses are limited. Contact healthpro today to secure your place.
Course Aim: It is our aim to encourage all abilities to improve their run ability. We assess where you current ability is and we progress you from there. At the end of every course we set a challenge and we celebrate everybodies achievements!!! Next run group's Challenge is on the 31st August 2012 at 7pm.
Running Days: We run every Wednesday at 7pm and Saturday's at 9am for one hour.
Past Goals have included:
"11.5 km achieved after 10 weeks of running" - at the start of the 10 weeks this person found running 1km extremely difficult resulting in walk / jogging. After 10 weeks now they can run for 11.5km..this could be you...
"to be able to run 5 km" - from a complete beginner who on day 1 of the course was not able to run for more than 30 seconds. By the week 5 of the course their 5 km goal was achieved and they were on their way to achieve their first 10km run. Goal achieved.
"to run 10 km in less than 1 hour" - we have helped people take over 22 minutes off their current 10 km ability
"to run 10 km in less than 50 minutes" - this was achieved and our clients achieved 45 minutes, 46 minutes and 48 minutes.
"to be able to run a half marathon" - yes from never having done even a 5 km run our clients have achieved 21 km (half marathons).
Course Cost: This fully coached course costs €75 for 10 sessions or €150 for 20 sessions. Those who commit to the full running twice per week have been seen to achieve the best improvements. Price included dietetic assessment (Optional).

healthpro BOOTCAMP is a Military- Style boot camp unlike any other. We use the natural surroundings of the Howth Peninsula and our purpose built course.

To motivate people to achieve their individual fitness and health goals in a fun and energetic environment. We want to change the idea that exercise being a chore, but rather an invigorating and exciting experience.
We train in groups, which help you gain motivation and drive the experience to a higher level. healthpro’s training philosophy for this boot camp involves using many army style techniques and keeping classes to small intimate numbers. We offer a mixture of strength, muscular and cardio respiratory endurance exercises along with ongoing individual support with health and dietary information and advice.

What can I expect?
- Training will take place on site at the Deer Park Hotel BOOTCAMP, which has been built in the Rhododendron gardens; we have constructed a purpose built outdoor gym utilising equipment recovered from the woodland. Sessions will also take place on the Howth beaches and Mountains.
- Activities include Military activities such as Tyre Challenges, Barrel Rolling, Boxing, Skipping, Team Games, Hiking, Scramble Net-Obstacle Courses, Circuit Training and Core Training, to name a few. (Please note that activities are dependent on venue and weather).
All our Trainers are qualified to the highest level and are serious about helping you achieve your fitness goals. They are passionate, supportive and talented at training people just like you to achieve great results.
Nutrition with Our Dietician
Harriette Lynch is a registered dietitian and will offer her expertise to all attending BOOTCAMP.
There will be no harsh starvation regimes here!
- All participants will receive their own nutritional requirements catering for individual needs and recipes for cooking which will benefit them on the pitch as well off the pitch.
- Participant’s will be offered a nutritional seminar, which will gain you professional and correct information needed for peak performance.
- We will also offer recipes and ideas for cooking, which will benefit you at home as well.
